European Papers-Jean Monnet Network Summer School : « Rule of Law and Human Rights in Europe and the World in Times of Contestation »

The University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, with the European Papers and the European Papers – Jean Monnet Network, is hosting a summer school on 6-10 September, in Paris :

Rule of Law and Human Rights in Europe and the World in Times of Contestation

 Call for Applications & Program

The programme is open to Master students, PhD researchers and post-doctoral researchers. No law degree is required, albeit some prior knowledge of European law or EU institutions would be helpful. Since all courses will be taught in English, all applicant needs to be sufficiently fluent in English to be able to understand the classes and to interact with fellow students and researchers.

There is no tuition or registration fee for the programme. However, the summer school will not provide any financial assistance to participants for their stay in Paris.

How to apply

The deadline for receiving application letters is 10 July 2022. Application letters shall be sent to : SummerSchoolParis2022@univ-paris1.fr.

Application letters shall include a CV, and a brief description of their thesis for researchers who are willing to discuss their PhD thesis with senior academics. A letter of recommendation is not required, but will be appreciated.

The results of your application will be announced via email before 25 July 2022.
